1983 Fleer Goes MAD Collector's Sticker Trading Cards
In 1983 MAD Magazine and Fleer (the sports trading card maker) teamed up to make these Fleer Goes MAD Sticker Collector Cards. The series consisted of 128 numbered die-cut stickers, suitable for pasting in the collector album, and 64 unnumbered "Trouble Stickers". The card backs when put together formed 2 different puzzle posters: Don Martin & Alfred E. Neuman. There was a 1st and a 2nd print runs for the cards with some variations to some of the fronts and backside puzzle pieces for the numbered 128 cards, but no variations for the Trouble Sticker Cards.
Each box of wax packs contained 36 wax packs with 5 cards each and one piece of bubble gum totaling 180 cards per box. 128+64=192 which means buying just one box even if you were lucky enough to have zero doubles still wouldn't be enough to complete the set, so multiple boxes would need to be bought! Each box also came with a poster. To accompany the stickers, you could also buy a MAD Sticker Album that had spots to stick all 128 stickers with artwork throughout from the UGOI. The box came with 12 sticker albums.

The major difference with the 2nd printing was some of the card’s fronts were different. #'s 1-9 added “MAD HORRIFYING CLICHES” to the front of the card. On the first printing Alfred ‘s face was printed backwards on #'s 18 & 24. That was fixed on the 2nd printing. #'s 53-61 added “MAD ODDS” to the front of the cards. #'s 98-105 added “MAD EXCUSES” to the front of the cards.
The following cards had no changes between 1st & 2nd printings:

Inside each box of wax packs came with a poster measuring 4 5/8"x17" and came in two colors, a matte orange and a glossy yellow.
